Questions? We'll answer them
Useful information on manual lawn renovation, addressing soil problems, and choosing the right tools.
1
How do I know if my soil is compacted?
If water pools on the surface of your lawn after rain or irrigation, or if you find it difficult to push a screwdriver into the soil, it could be a sign of compacted soil. In such cases, the roots do not receive enough air and water, so it is advisable to aerate the soil as soon as possible.
2
Are hand tools really as effective as machines?
Yes. For home lawns, manual aerators allow for more precise, targeted, and deeper work, while not further compacting the soil and not smearing the top layer as heavy machinery sometimes can.
3
How often should I use a manual lawn aerator?
For best results, we recommend applying it twice a year: in early spring and mid-autumn. This allows the roots to more easily access water, air, and nutrients.
4
What is a lawn leveling rake used for?
A lawn leveling rake smooths out small hollows and bumps, thereby reducing the formation of standing water, giving the lawn a more attractive appearance, and making mowing much easier.
